Hypnotherapy
Therapy that works with what the mind holds onto and what the body remembers.
IMAGINE THIS
Feeling safe and centered within yourself, so rooted in who you are that taking up space comes naturally
Waking up feeling grounded and ready to meet your day, with a sense of aligned purpose
Trusting yourself, your decisions, and the inner voice that's been guiding you all along
Feeling present and at ease in your body, like you can finally breathe
Feeling fully alive in your own life
“The process was deeply relaxing and empowering. Over our sessions, I noticed real shifts. My internal critical voice has quieted down significantly, and I'm finally taking steps toward goals I'd been putting off. ”

Together we follow what you need, what your body is communicating, and what's ready to be transmuted.
4 pillars of my work

Cognitive hypnotherapy works directly with the subconscious mind — the part of you that holds the old beliefs, the stories you absorbed early, the patterns that have been quietly running the show.
This is an evidence-based, solutions-focussed therapy, working directly with the subconscious, the part of the mind where old beliefs, patterns and stories actually live.
Using trance, we tap into your subconscious to identify and let go of the underlying causes behind challenging thoughts or feelings. This opens the door to deep transformation.
Hypnotherapy is one of the world’s oldest therapies, with roots stretching back hundreds of years. From Native American traditions to Shamans, it’s been a powerful tool for transformation and healing, long before modern science began to understand its benefits.

Real change doesn't happen through more effort. It happens when we finally stop bracing and actually allow something shift.
This is where somatic therapy does its most important work, gently helping the nervous system release what it's been holding, so the body can stop being stuck and start healing.
Your body has been holding everything you've been through. Every time you made yourself smaller, every story you absorbed about who you were allowed to be.
Focalizing is a type of somatic therapeutic approach that focuses on the body’s innate intelligence when it comes to processing and integration. It is the practice of returning to that body with curiosity, and listening.
Working at a nervous system level in a trauma-informed way, we gently complete what got interrupted and welcome back the parts of you that learned to hide.
-
A fully lived life isn't something that happens once everything is sorted. It's available for you now. In this body, this moment of your life, even in the messy middle of everything you're carrying. The problem is that years of coping, hiding and managing have disconnected you from the felt sense of it.
Through somatic therapy, we work with the body directly — learning to feel and be present again, and to inhabit your own life rather than observe it from a distance.
And through cognitive hypnotherapy, we work with the subconscious beliefs that have been keeping you on autopilot. Aliveness is a choice — and we make it possible for you to choose it.
-
You've been taught to distrust your body, your feelings, and your intuition. To see your sensitivity as inconvenient and your cyclical nature as something to push through rather than work with.
This is one of the most damaging things shame does. It makes you distrust the very parts of yourself that are most wise.
My shame-sensitive, trauma-informed approach works directly with this. We meet the parts of you that learned to hide with curiosity rather than judgement. We listen to what the body knows. We restore trust in your own deep knowing, because this is the source of your greatest resource. You were never too much. You were just in spaces that couldn't hold all of you.

If you’re dealing with anxiety, know that you’re not alone, and there’s a way forward. Anxiety can attach itself to nearly anything—holding you back from activities you enjoy, affecting your work, or even making it hard to connect with others. It’s frustrating because, at times, it may seem to come out of nowhere.
The truth is, anxiety is a natural response that plays an important role in keeping us safe. Our aim isn’t to remove anxiety entirely but to understand why it shows up. Together, we’ll explore the roots of your anxiety and use targeted hypnotherapy techniques to reduce its hold on your life. This approach can help you feel calm and grounded in situations that once felt overwhelming.
By understanding what anxiety means for you, we can work on loosening its grip and transforming those anxious responses. Over time, you’ll find yourself better able to move through life with a sense of control and calm. You’ll learn to make your emotions work for you, not against you, allowing space for new confidence and balance.
-
Stress affects both our body and mind, often leading to disrupted sleep, heightened anxiety, and weakened immunity. Managing stress is vital for a healthy and content life.
Hypnotherapy provides a gentle, effective way to understand and release your stress. In sessions, you’ll be guided into a deeply relaxed state, allowing access to your subconscious mind where stress patterns often form. By identifying and reframing these patterns, hypnotherapy can help you respond to challenges with a renewed sense of calm and control.
Together, we will look to build habits like breathwork, mindfulness and moments of intentional relaxation which all help in reducing stress. These approaches create a powerful foundation, helping you handle life's pressures without falling apart, and enjoy greater peace and well-being.

Low mood, sadness and depression can creep in gradually or hit unexpectedly, affecting everything from your motivation to your relationships and general outlook on life. Often, these feelings are connected to unresolved experiences, internal beliefs, or repeated thought patterns that may be keeping you in a cycle of feeling “stuck.”
While sadness is natural, persistent low mood makes it hard to enjoy everyday moments or feel hopeful about what's next.
Hypnotherapy helps reshape the subconscious patterns keeping you stuck, so you can rediscover motivation, clarity, and yes - actual joy again.
-
A lack of confidence or low self-esteem can make everyday situations feel challenging, holding you back from meeting new people, speaking up in meetings or finding love. Self-doubt can create a constant inner critic, which often leads to feelings of inadequacy or fear of failure.
Our early experiences leave us with narratives and labels about who we are and what we can achieve, but these beliefs are not representative of the potential we really have. We can work to reshape these old stories in a way that means you will look back and realise you don’t remember when you became a more confident person.

If you struggle with insomnia or wake up feeling exhausted, hypnotherapy could make a big difference. Together, we’ll explore the root cause of your sleep issues - lifestyle habits, stress, or early experiences that may be impacting your rest - so you can break the cycle for good.
For those with insomnia, hypnosis promotes deep relaxation, creating a state of mind and body that is able to fully rest. We’ll also explore practical changes to improve your sleep routine, calming any stress or anxiety around bedtime. With these adjustments, you can look forward to better sleep and more energised, fulfilling days.

When you’re engaging in a behaviour that feels automatic, even though you’d prefer to stop, there’s usually an underlying reason. This reason often lies below conscious awareness—otherwise, it’d be easy to figure out how to quit! When these actions become ingrained, they can end up causing stress instead.
Addictions can take many forms, impacting physical and emotional well-being. They often stem from an attempt to cope with stress, trauma, or underlying issues. While overcoming addiction can be challenging, Cognitive Hypnotherapy can help you gain control.
Together, we’ll uncover the root cause of the behaviour and retrain your mind, giving it new responses that align with what you actually want to do in those moments.

So, you’ve got a job that involves speaking up in meetings or giving presentations. Maybe you want to go for a promotion, but the idea of talking in front of people more makes you hesitate.
This is totally normal, and you’re not alone. This is one of the most common fears. Your brain sometimes gets it wrong and flags public speaking as “dangerous”—likely from an old belief formed unconsciously when you were younger. So, even though you want to feel comfortable, telling yourself to “just get on with it” doesn’t do the trick.
Hypnotherapy can make a huge difference. We’ll work with your subconscious to see public speaking as safe and manageable. Not only can it help you let go of the anxiety, but it can also build a level of confidence you may not have thought possible. Imagine what you could accomplish without that fear holding you back! Let’s make it happen.

Life can sometimes feel like you’re standing still, unsure of the next step. I have been there myself. Questioning our purpose and why we are here is part of being human, albeit a challenging and painful part.
Hypnotherapy is powerful at breaking through that sense of being stuck. By tapping into the subconscious mind, it helps dissolve emotional and mental blocks that may be holding you back. Hypnosis encourages your imagination to awaken, allowing fresh ideas, perspective and clarity to flow.
Whether you’re considering a new career, wanting to leave or call in a relationship, exploring a creative passion, or simply searching for direction, hypnotherapy can ease fears and reignite your sense of purpose. It’s a gentle yet effective way to reconnect with your inner self, helping you feel inspired and energised again. Supporting clients in finding their power and stepping into a more connected, vibrant life is at the heart of what I do.

You might be scared of mice, or birds, or get sweaty palms at the thought of getting on a plane. You might feel your phobia is a bit unusual, but don’t worry —whatever it is, the approach to treating it stays the same.
Hypnotherapy is really effective in helping you feel safe and calm instead. In just a few sessions, you could leave your phobia behind and understand how and why this fear developed in the first place. Many find that conquering their fears reconnects them with a sense of confidence and capability they thought they’d lost. Let’s work together to help you feel more in control.
Step 1
We begin with a free clarity call. No commitment, just a chat to explore what you're navigating and see if working together feels aligned.
Step 2
If it does, our first session goes deep into your story, what needs to shift, and how you want to feel differently. Every session after that is tailored entirely around you.
I work with women and non-binary folk online and in person in Bristol, UK.
